I graduated from Phillips Graduate University (c/o 2018) where I obtained my Doctorate degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Organizational Management and Consulting. I am a proud Matador Alumni where I obtained my B.A. in Pan African Studies (now known as Africana Studies). I currently sit on the board of The CSUN Black Alumni Association as President. I’m also a current faculty member at CSUN.
I have been working in mental health for over a decade. I am a program coordinator with a strong commitment to serving the community in the Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley area. Currently, I lead a program within the city called the Fostering Resiliency Project (FRP) at its helm after a decade-long career in mental health awareness and advocacy through educational programming to communities of color. I have a strong passion for working with at-risk youth and young adults who are impacted by the judicial system. I try to utilize emotional intelligence to help young men not only understand who they are but learn who they are as they continue to live healthy lives. I also have experience in program and organizational planning with critical thinking, problem-solving and relationship building expertise.
