Registered SUD Counseling Certificate Program
The Substance Use Disorder Counseling Certificate Program at TTCC offers students the educational component and preparation needed for employment in the addiction counseling field. After completing this certification program, students are eligible to apply for any California State recognized professional credentials—California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP), California Association for Drug/Alcohol Educators (CAADE), California Association of DUI Treatment Programs (CADTP) or South Bay Work Force Investment (SBWIB) . Either of the four organizations may require additional testing and/or field practicum hours; however, a TTCC education provides the full educational requirement to gain a full addictions certificate.
Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. is a nationally recognized organization that provides integrated healthcare to individuals throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area. With dozens of locations around Los Angeles, TTCC offers internships and field-placement practicum hours at many of our locations. TTCC students will additionally have access to training opportunities, subject-matter experts, professional mentors, and guidance through one of California’s most recognized integrated healthcare organizations.
The SUD Counseling Certificate program at TTCC is perfect for working professionals and individuals looking to change careers to support people in need as an SUD treatment professional. However, TTCC programs are not designed to lead to specific positions in a particular profession, occupation, trade or career field requiring licensure.
